STYFRP stainless steel water tanks are manufactured with imported SUS304 stainless steel materials, fully complying with national sanitary inspection standards. The tanks feature rust resistance, algae prevention, zero leakage, and permanent sanitary performance with stable and safe operation. Their service life is 15 times longer than traditional concrete water tanks, making them suitable for cold water purification, hot water storage, and chemical solvent storage applications.
Our stainless steel water tanks are closed water storage facilities fabricated with food-grade and industrial-grade stainless steel plates through CNC stamping, modular assembly and precision argon arc welding processes. We provide multiple material options including 304, 316L and 201 stainless steel to adapt to diverse usage environments and water quality requirements.
304 food-grade stainless steel is the mainstream choice for domestic drinking water storage. Containing chromium and nickel alloy elements, it forms a dense and stable protective oxide film on the surface, effectively resisting erosion from water and oxygen to prevent rusting and leakage. 316L stainless steel is added with molybdenum elements, delivering superior resistance to chloride ions and corrosion. It is specially designed for coastal high-salt areas, complex water quality and chemically corrosive environments. 201 stainless steel has relatively weak corrosion resistance, only applicable for non-potable water storage such as fire water reserve, and is not recommended for daily drinking water storage.
STYFRP stainless steel water tanks have overwhelming advantages over traditional water storage equipment in sanitary safety and long-term durability. Traditional concrete tanks are prone to moss growth, sediment accumulation and bacterial breeding, causing secondary water pollution after long-term use. FRP tanks easily age and crack with material peeling issues, while plastic tanks tend to oxidize and deform, possibly releasing harmful substances.
In contrast, our stainless steel tanks adopt a fully sealed structure, equipped with filtered ventilation holes and anti-theft manholes, completely blocking external dust, insects and impurities. The smooth and non-porous inner wall resists scaling, algae and bacterial growth, fully meeting the national drinking water hygiene standard GB 17219 and ensuring clean and safe water quality from the source.
